Neuromuscular Massage Therapy

What is Neuromuscular Massage Therapy?

Neuromuscular Massage Therapy is defined as "a form of soft tissue manipulation that aims to treat underlying causes of chronic pain involving the muscular and nervous systems. This medically-oriented form of massage addresses trigger points (tender muscles points), circulation, nerve compression, postural issues, and biomechanical problems that can be caused by repetitive movement injuries."

What can be expected from your Neuromuscular Massage Session?

After the muscle is relaxed through massage therapy, the lactic acid will be released from the muscle, and the muscle should start receiving enough blood and oxygen.

Post massage a client can expect to experience light soreness over the next 24-36 hrs as the muscles find their way towards release & recovery. Once recovery begins the muscle that were in stress should experience a release for a continued 7-14 days.

How often should you receive Neuromuscular Therapy?

If I am working with a client that is dealing with a chronic muscular issue and is looking for long term results, I recommend that a client schedule a minimum of four sessions, to be used over a 4-8 week time period in order to experience maximum benefit.

Additional Indications for Therapy:

Neuromuscular Massage Therapy is  highly recommend  for those clients that are recovering post injury: sprains, breaks, surgery, etc...

Note: Depending on the client's injury, a Doctor's release might  be requested to ensure the injured area is healthy enough to receive massage.

Sessions & pricing

cancellation policy

While it is my great honor to help individuals heal & find health through massage & nutritional coaching I do hope mutual respect can be found for my time as well.

When a client requests an appointment, I ensure that I keep my professional & personal calendars carefully blocked to ensure that my clients receive the attention they deserve.

While I understand that unforeseen circumstances may occur, last minute cancellations mean that, as a small business, I do not have the ability to fill that appointment time. These cancellations can greatly impact my professional & personal schedule.

It is with this in mind that I appreciate my clients understanding that SAME DAY CANCELLATION will automatically incur a $45.00 cancellation fee.

NO SHOWS or CANCELLATIONS within 2 hours of a scheduled appointment will incur the full cost of the appointment.

Thank you for valuing my time & energy as much as I value yours!
