Neuromuscular Massage Therapy

What is Neuromuscular Massage Therapy?

Neuromuscular Massage Therapy is defined as "a form of soft tissue manipulation that aims to treat underlying causes of chronic pain involving the muscular and nervous systems. This medically-oriented form of massage addresses trigger points (tender muscles points), circulation, nerve compression, postural issues, and biomechanical problems that can be caused by repetitive movement injuries."

COVID-19 / ILLNESS SAFETY POLICY

During the time of COVID-19, and as we navigate possible future health concerns, I have created the following rules & guidelines within which I will operate my practice.  Health protocols for individuals:

  • All clients MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED in order to receive treatment.
  •   If you believe yourself to be currently sick with any illness or, believe yourself to be becoming sick, PLEASE reschedule & or cancel your appointment with no penalty.
  •  If you've had contact with anyone who tested positive for COVID-19 you must be 14 days past exposure before receiving therapy.
  • If you decide to show up to your appointment ill or, without updated vaccinations, you will be politely informed that the appointment will need to be cancelled & you will still be charged for the full cost of the scheduled appointment.

This policy has been put into effect so that I am able to better protect the health & well-being of my clients.

It is also to ensure that my small business is not forced to shut down due to unnecessary exposure to illnesses.

Should I become sick with ANY illness, I would be forced to cancel appointments and shut down until I am fully recovered.

As a small business, I cannot afford to shut down for any reason, other than personal emergency, and I will not subject myself, nor my clients to any unnecessary illnesses.

Thank you for your understanding,

Crystal Mathis

CANCELLATION POLICY

While it is my great honor to help individuals heal & find health through massage & nutritional coaching, I do hope mutual respect can be found for my time as well.

When a client requests an appointment, I ensure that I keep my professional & personal calendars carefully blocked to ensure that my clients receive the attention they deserve.

While I understand that unforeseen circumstances may occur, last minute cancellations mean that, as a small business, I do not have the ability to fill that appointment time.

These cancellations can greatly impact my professional & personal schedule.

It is with this in mind that I appreciate my clients understanding that SAME DAY CANCELLATION will automatically incur a $50.00 cancellation fee.

NO SHOWS or CANCELLATIONS within 2 hours of a scheduled appointment will incur the full cost of the appointment.

Thank you for valuing my time & energy as much as I value yours!  Crystal Mathis
